Christine
Green was born in Luton and trained as a nurse in London. She now
lives in Wolverhampton.
Most of her career has been in nursing with short periods spent
in teaching and midwifery. She became a full time writer in 1998.
Her first novel Deadly
Errand was published in 1991 and was shortlisted for the John
Creasy Award.

The fifth Kate Kinsella novel "Deadly
Bond" was published in November 2001 and the sixth "Deadly

The novel Coronation Street
- The Way to Victory was published in October 2000 by Granada
Media / Andre Deutsch and has been re-published in a combined volume
"Coronation Street, The War
Years" in October 2001. A second edition of Coronation
Street - The Way to Victory came out in May 2002.
In May 2001, a new series of novels started with the publication
of "Fire Angels". This
series features Detective Inspector Rydell, Detective Sergeant Denni
Caldecote and Detective Sergeant Ramesh Patel. The second in the
series "Vain Hope"
was published in May 2002.
Most of Christine's novels have been published in Magna Large Print
too, and some of her books have been released on audio cassette.
Christine's work has been published around the world - U.S.A.,
New Zealand and has also been translated into Japanese.
Her work is among the most commonly borrowed fiction in libraries
throughout the U.K.
